The popular television personality was born on 1 December 1988 and the place of birth is in Port Elizabeth. Nambitha Ben-Mazwi is 32 years old. Like many people in South Africa, the celebrity celebrates her birthday once a year on December 1st.

Education

She attended the University of Cape Town and obtained a degree in Business Science (Honour). In an interview session with News24, she mentioned her academics as one of her achievements she is proud of.

“Graduating with a UCT business science honours degree. Working alongside Laurence Fishburne, and later being invited to his home and solidifying a great friendship with him over the years.”

Career

She landed the role of Unathi Mweli, her debut role on television, in Doubt. The character in the Mzansi Magic mystery drama series is a bitchy sister of a man arrested for murdering a stripper.

She played the role of Tamara in Black Mirror at the time she was living in New York. The series is based on the United Kingdom series of the same name.

Before coming back to Mzansi, Nambitha was a presenter and MC. In 2015, she was added as a ‘wildcard entry’ to the top 11 of Presenter Search 3. The next year, she landed a minor role in season two ofTraffic! an eKasi+ police procedural series aired on e.tv.

In 2016, she starred in Doubt, an Mzansi Magic, and in the year the followed she landed a starring role of Lulama in Broken Vows.

Still, in 2017, Nambitha portrayed the role of Nandi in Madiba, a BET miniseries. The show aired on Discovery Channel in the country. 

In 2018, she played a starring role of Benathi in Diamond City, an SABC1 drama series. The next year, in 2019, she landed a recurring role on Scandal!, an e.tv soap opera playing as Chardonnay.

 The character better known as Shado is a sexually attractive slay queen and a host on a secret club of gentlemen. She appeared first on the show in February 2019

The actress opened up about being diagnosed with endometriosis and emergency surgery. She took to Instagram to share a picture of herself in a hospital bed. The actress explained how she has been healing from an emergency surgery she underwent. 

“I underwent emergency surgery. A number of procedures were done, above and beyond being diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis. This has been the toughest time of my life. But with the storm I have seen and felt God cover me like no other,”
